la costa consiste essenzialmente massicci rocciosi tagliati da numerosissimi e piuttosto grandi fiumi che, alla foce, formano delle gole profondissime che spesso sono invase dal mare creando dei piccoli fiordi ... la costa è costallata da spiagge immense battute da venti e onde spettacolari e avvolte da una foschia salmastra....
sullo storm river (tsitsikama national park) hanno pure costruito un ponte sul fiordino letteralmente sull'oceano ! unico al mondo dicono loro ... vedi foto sotto
qua sotto siamo sullo mboyi river ... in sud africa ci sono centinaia di caravan camp e camping di ogni tipo, i sudafricani (soprattutto se bianchi) amano campeggiare fa parte della loro genetica colturale infatti la maggior parte sono i diretti discendenti dei boeri un misto di coloni di origine olandese ma anche tedeschi e francesi (ugonotti in fuga dalle purghe cattoliche) ... sono tutti di religione cristiana riformata e parlano l'afrikaner un misto delle lingue dei paesi menzionati
