percorrendo le zone interne della costa da butterworth a mathatha a lusikosiki ci si imatte nelle bantustan, le zone dove, dopo il cosiddetto 'land act' degli inizi del 1900 implementato dagli inglesi prima e poi dagli afrikaners dal 1948 (quando hanno vinto le elezioni e applicato l'apartaid come politica ufficiale) e stata relegata la popolazione nera

il land act prevedeva la reclusione di TUTTA la popolazione nativa in aree specifiche e fondamentalmente remote, senza alcun potenziale economico, vedi foto ... creando praticamente degli enormi campi di concentramento all'aperto... dette zone rappresentavano circa l'8% della superficie totale del paese ...

cosi facendo i neri dovevano emigrare nelle citta e nelle miniere per soddisfare la domanda di manodopera a bassissimo costo 

quindi il processo di apartaid è iniziato molto prima del secondo dopoguerra !!! e gli inglesi ne sono la causa principale

 the land act provided for the confinement of ALL the native population in specific and basically remote areas, without any economic potential, see photo ... practically creating huge outdoor concentration camps ... these areas represented about 8% of the total area of the country ... in doing so, blacks had to emigrate to cities and mines to meet the demand for cheap labor  

... therefore the apartaid process began long before the second postwar period !!! and the British are the main cause

i bianchi discendenti dai boeri e dagli inglesi, in netta minoranza, si prendono il restante 92% della terra ... vi sono infatti aziende agricole enormi gestite dai bianchi con tecnologie assai moderne mentre i neri hanno perso quasi totalmente la tradizione contadina .. e chi se ne intende sa quanto poi è difficile recuperarla ... di fatto le ex zone bantustan visitate sono scarsissimamente coltivate (rari campi di mais per autoconsumo) ... l'umiliazione subita devessere stata veramente cocente ...

dopo il 1994 con l'abolizione dell'appartaid, la situazion sembra si sia capovolta ! ... adesso sono i bianchi che si rinchiudono volontariamente in campi di concentramento di lusso per proteggersi dalla criminaliutà esterna
