gli orfanelli provengono dalla RDC (i cui padri sono stati uccisi dai bracconieri - la carne è molto apprezzata 😓) ed altre parti del mondo dove il bracconaggio è presente oppure da animali abbandonati da ricche famiglie che hanno prima comperato a caro prezzo un cucciolo di scimpanzè per poi abbandonarlo quando cresce ... lo stesso succede per altri animali purtroppo
la prima foto è un maschio alfa, si riconosce ? 😁.. ultima è femmina con figlio ....

the orphans come from the DRC (whose parents were killed by poachers - the meat is very appreciated 😓) and other parts of the world where poaching is present or from animals abandoned by rich families who first bought a baby chimpanzee at a high price and then abandon it when it grows ...the same happens for other animals unfortunately

sulla strada per l'orfanatrofio abbiamo visto un'enorme coda di 74 km (!!!) di truck diretti verso la frontiera della RDC ... precisamente a lubumbashi nell'estremo sud del paese dove sono concentrate innumerevoli miniere di rame, cobalto e terre rare (molte delle quali in mano ai cinesi) ...
un'impressionante linea di rifornimento di centinaia di camion tra nuvole di polvere rossa per sviluppare enormi miniere a cielo aperto dove gli umani grattano la terra e la fondono per ricavare i metalli che troviamo in tutti gli apparati che usiamo ogni giorno dalla lavatrice al cellulare ... epico !
faremo lo stesso in altri pianeti come la fantascienza raccomanda ?

on the way to the orphanage we saw a huge queue of 74 km (!!!) of trucks heading towards the border of the DRC ... precisely in lubumbashi in the far south of the country where countless copper, cobalt and rare earths (many of which in the hands of the Chinese) ...
an impressive supply line of hundreds of trucks running in red dust to ensure the functioning of huge open pit mines where humans scratch the earth and melt it to get the metals we find in all the devices we use every day from washing machine to cell phone ... epic!

sopra i pesantissimi lingotti di rame trasportati dalla copperbel a dar el salam per poii essere integrati nei circuiti mondiali
nella ricerca dell'orfanatrofio ci siamo persi e abbiamo incontrato comunità di carbonari, producono carbone dalle piante della foresta per la popolazione urbana dove rappresenta ancora la principale fonte energetica per cucinare ... come i minatori anche i carbonai strappano faticosamente alla natura le sue risorse anche se tecnologicamente sono dalla parte opposta ...
il carbonaio rappresenta il limite estremo in termini di povertà in quanto il lavoro necessario per trasformare legno in carbone è tantissimo se comparato con i benefici economici ... sono persone che non hanno alternative più favorevoli (un cumulo di carbone rende dopo 3 mesi 30 sacchi che sono venduti a 100 quacia - 5,7 € - quindi 171 € - e ci lavorano 4 persone ! ... )
ricordo che nelle montagne italiane i carbonari sono esistiti sin dopo la II guerra mondiale ....

like the miners, even the charcoaler laboriously snatch its resources from nature even if technologically on the opposite side ...
the charcoal burner represents the extreme limit in terms of poverty as the work required to transform wood into coal is a lot if compared with the economic benefits ... they are people who have no more favorable alternatives (a pile of coal makes 30 bags after 3 months which are sold for 100 quacia - € 5.7 - then € 171 - and 4 people work there! ...)
I remind that charcoalers existed in the Italian mountains up to the II World War ....and even after
