cape cross- colonia di foche / cape cross - seal colony

 prima di entrare nella famosissima skeleton coast ci siamo fermati a cape cross dove i primi portoghesi hanno piantato una croce per sancire il dominio della cristianità sull'africa - detta croce è poi rubata dai tedeschi (originale ancora in germania!) che l'hanno sostituita con una croce con l'aquila asburgica (!) - in foto le due (quella originale tedesca e copia dellaa portoghese) 

le croci sono poi situate nel mezzo di una colonia di circa 100.000 foche (molto puzzolenti)

before entering the famous skeleton coast we stopped at Cape Cross where the first Portuguese planted a cross to sanction the dominion of Christianity over Africa - this cross has been  then stolen by the Germans (still original in Germany!) who replaced it with a cross with the Habsburg eagle (!)

 in the photo the two (the original German one and a copy of the Portuguese one) the crosses are then located in the middle of a colony of about 100,000 seals (very smelly)
