 la welwitchia è una albero che vive in zone estreme desertiche, dico albero anche se il tronco è alto non più di 20 cm (!!!) perchè è una gimnosperama (come le conifere e le cycas per esempio) ma con origini preistoriche, gardate le foto, in effetti ha le pigne classiche di un abete 

si trova nelle zone desertiche attorno a swakopmund, specialmente vicino allo swakop river, paesaggi lunari ! per chi viaggia senza guida come noi, trovarla non è facile, basta solo chiedere e darò le indicazioni necessarie
