Massimo travelling: the road to moyale & crossing to ethiopia

... dopo un mese in kenya, ci muoviamo verso il nord del paese per passare in etiopia, pochi anni fa la strada verso il confine di moyale era pericolosa per banditismo e con strade sterrate ... adesso la situazione sicurezza è migliorata considerabilmente e le strade sono nuove ed asfaltate

va detto che in kenya sotto il governo kenyatta (figlio del primo presidente del periodo dell'indipendenza) uno sforzo considerevole è stato fatto per migliorare le infrastrutture, base di ogni sviluppo e crescita economica ...

ricordo che nell'attuale sistema capitalistico la sola speranza per i poveri di uscire dalla situazione di povertà è la crescita dell'economia, ovvero della dimensione della torta - questo perchè le politiche per una migliore redistribuzione della ricchezza non sono ancora state seriamente sviluppate ne in africa e tantomeno negli altri paesi occidentali ...........

analogamente ad altri paesi (rwanda, uganda, tanzania ecc ecc) questo ha portato ad un crescente indebitamento del kenya (2/3 del PIL, ricordo che quello dell'italia è superiore al 140% del PIL), il FMI è allarmato, il governo del kenya assicura che è un debito sostenibile ed io spero che lo sia perchè senza infrastrutture la crescita non è possibile ... nel mio caso come turista per esempio se da nairobi dovessi impiegare 4 giorni di guida per andare a fare il bagno a diani beach, ovviamente non ci andrei ....

il clima del nord del kenya è decisamente desertico ed il paesaggio molto bello (herry & rosanna campsite in marsabit sono una tappa intermedia da prendere in considerazione)

a moyale, prima di passare migrazione del kenya è assolutamente importante verificare che il vostro e-visa etiope sia debitamente verificato (vi chiederanno anche di mostrare copia cartacea della ricevuta di pagamento che arriva assieme all'e-visa) ... questo perchè spesso il sistema informatico centrale non funziona e dovete aspettare ore prima che la verifica possa essere effettuata ...quindi consiglio passare il confine la mattina presto per poter avere il tempo di passare migrazione e soprattutto la dogana etiope prima delle 5 pm (il documento doganale vi verrà chiesto in ognuno dei numerosi posti di blocco nel sud dell'etiopia).
