the toyota (petrol) is arrived !

finalmente la toyota a benzina è uscita dal container e sdoganata ....

domani si parte dopo aver disinfettato il serbatoio dell'acqua (100 lt !) riempito i due serbatoi di BENZINA (345 lt !!!)  e fatto le spese del caso (20 birre castel nel frigo alimentato da pannelli solari), vino shyraz del sa, tequila, rum wisky per far fronte alle notti fredde e solitarie e cibo ... 

ma perchè menziono sempre che la macchina è a benziana ??? perchè la quasi totalità delle toyota land cruiser in sa e delle 4x4 che ho guidato sono a diesel ... e quindi mi devo sempre ricordare chela nostra è a benzina non sia mai che io in un momento di totale rincoglionimento o qualche benzinaio la riempia di diesel .................e sarebbe un disastro

 finally the petrol toyota came out of the container and cleared through customs .... tomorrow we leave after having disinfected the water tank (100 liters!), filled the two PETROL tanks (345 liters !!!) and made the necessary expenses (20 castel beers in the fridge powered by solar panels), Shyraz wine from sa, tequila, whiskey rum to cope with cold and lonely nights and food ... 

 but why do I always mention that the car is benzian ??? because almost all of the toyota land cruisers in sa and the 4x4s that I drove are diesel powered ... and therefore I must always remember that ours is petrol, never mind that in a moment of total stonedness or some gas station attendant fills it with diesel ................. and it would be a disaster

siamo riusciti a tempo record installare una seconda ruota di scorta costata una fortuna e che pesa un casino .....ma crediamo bene possa dare la tranquillità necessaria ... per esempio nel deserto del kalahari ,,, abbiamo anche imparato come si riparano le gomme con kit vedi sotto ma che speriamo non usare mai !!!!!

we managed in record time to install a second spare wheel that cost a fortune and weighs a lot ..... but we believe it can give the necessary tranquility ... for example in the kalahari desert......

 we also learned how to repair the tires with the kit below that hopefully we will never use !!!!!
