considerando l'attuale stato d'abbandono e assenza di animali (mangiati o saltati sulle migliaia di mine ancora attive) dei parchi nazionali angolani ... vale sicuranente la pena menzioare il CUATIR GAME RESERVE una risersa privata di un pilota namibiano stefan che stà eroicamente cercando di ricostruire una riserva degna di essere visitata da turisti ... la game reserve sta provvedendo a ripopolare di animali africani il territorio importandoli dalla namibia o botswana
la riserva si trova sulla parte est del fiume cubango ... si attraversa il fiume su una chiatta a motore e poi 1 ora e 40 minuti per fare 41 km molti dei quali in deep sands, uno sballo per gli amanti dell'off road driving !
definitivamente un posto remoto dove all'arrivo trovi un campsite organizzatissimo sulle sponde del fiume cuatir
da visitare !
stefan ha anche un campsite a menongue che risolve il problema dove fare camping durante la visita del sud del paese (per esempio sulla via di andata o di ritorno da cuito cuanavale, lo storico luogo della famosissima battaglia - vedi tra i blog precedenti)
